Chairs
Chairs are probably the most used items in the big furniture family. Everybody loves pushing those dining chairs to the limit. Dogs love eating the legs and cats are checking the sharpnes of their paws on the armchairs.
We see hundreds of chair related issues in the shop: broken legs, missing parts, wobbly chairs, damaged cane and upholstery, damaged finish and so on.

Water gilding - 23K mirror
Water gilding is one of the finest and most time consuming mirror frame finish that we offer to our clients. The work is very labor intensive but extremely pleasing. This project required chemical removal of old finish, frame preparation, applying new gesso, clay and 23K gold, burnishing and finishing.

French hutch
Very nice example of French inlaid hutch. Two parts with marble top. Typical work involves repair and replacement of lost veneer. We have large selection of wood veneer and usually the replacement is done with the same kind.
The finish was chemically removed, surface was sanded, stained and new finish was applied.

Parlor set
We refinished loveseat that matched these chairs. The customer could not believe how nice it came out. These chairs were done by somebody else, but inlaid was hidden under damaged finish. We only worked on the top sections. Just to make it stand out more.
